Happy people are not aggressive.

Therefore we need complete change of human ethics by maximal reducing or even abolishing of suffering. Current pacifism in its primitive restrictive form doesn’t work. Instead of this old wish-thinking should come functional bioethical abolitionism.

To forget about the conflicts of all kind we need to realize one simple thing: people have the right to be happy. And there are visible goals to be achieved by biotechnological and philosophical sciences. We need to improve and rebuild our physical nature. Instead of homo faber we need to redesign us to a Homo Creator.

A longing to reproduce, and as a result the complete domination of our specie on the planet, is obviously achieved and the next step should be a rebuilding us to a new kind of being who experiences primarily alterocentric eudaemonia.


Additional note on this project:

Since my early childhood I was very moved by the question „why are people so unhappy?“. After forty years this question changed to „how to eradicate global suffering caused by evolutionary patterns of our behavior and as a result of these all kinds of physical conflicts?“. The answers to both problems are already visible, but they require to rethink our nature and change our future by the biochemical, biotechnological and bioethical improvements of our specie.
Surely, the biological sciences will not give to mankind a „happy“ pill with genetical and brain improvements at once - it is a long term project; and of course we can even fail on this path, but it is the most promising way from helpless pacifism to real peace on earth and other planets through bioethical abolitionism.

Seit meiner Kindheit hat mich die Frage bewegt: „Wieso sind Menschen so unglücklich?“. Nach vierzig Jahren hat sich diese Frage gewandelt in „Wie kann man das globale Leiden, verursacht durch evolutionäre Verhaltensmuster und die daraus resultierenden physischen Konflikte, ausradieren?“. Die Antworten auf beide Probleme sind bereits sichtbar, sie brauchen jedoch ein Umdenken unserer Natur und die Veränderung unserer Zukunft durch biochemische, biotechnische und bioethische Weiterentwicklung unserer Spezies.
Natürlich werden die Biowissenschaften der Menschheit keine „Glückspille“ mit genetischen und neuronalen Verbesserungen auf einen Schlag ermöglichen - es ist ein langfristiges Projekt, bei dem wir auch scheitern können, dennoch ist dies der vielversprechendste Weg um vom ohnmächtigen Pazifismus hin zu einem wahren Frieden auf der Erde und anderen Planeten durch den bioethischen Abolitionismus zu kommen.
