Aphaia
Aegina, Greece
AILOUROS IS MOVING
APHAIA CRUMBLES AWAY
BETWEEN THEM, A THIRD BEING BEGINS
Bioism arrives as a small excess of life, a chromatic error within the order of the Aegina temples. Its scale is almost nothing: the capacity of the minute to evolve into the immense.
Hand-sized bodies drift between columns, gone gods, and centuries.
They render them uncertain.
The lithomortality of the temple + the chronoflesh of Bioism + Ailouros = deviation
None of them remains.
Bioism exists in speculative evolutionary time, a ruinogenesis before it occurs: the production of possible life from the wounds of an inherited world.
At Aphaia, negative space is trembling.
Bioisms penetrate cracks: shelters for anatomies without ancestry. A wound becomes an opening through which the next nature emerges.
Ailouros is a nonhuman curator. It smells before it plays. It touches before it judges. It refuses the distance demanded by the gods of the past. Its paw abolishes the pedestal. Its body transforms Bioism into an encounter. This cat game is a test of existence. The bioism is asked the oldest question:
Can you enter the sensory world?
Are you an aeromorph?
Will you be divine?
